Dear
Parents:
Due to the pressing financial challenges that the parish and school
are currently confronting, it is very likely that tuition for the
2012-2013 school year will be increased at a level greater than we
have been accustomed to in recent years.
The school committee, with Mr. Quinn and the other advisory
committees of the parish, are trying to assess what sort of impact a
more substantial tuition increase would have on our families.
Variables that we are considering include how to predict our
enrollment numbers for next year, especially in light of a larger
tuition increase; our ability to internally generate tuition
assistance monies for families most in need; and the degree to which
the cost of an education at Saint Frances Cabrini is a selling point
for our families relative to the other reasons why many of you
consider our school to be the valuable part of your child’s future
that it is.
With these variables in mind we have prepared a short financial
survey for you to complete. Your honest and timely response to
these questions is greatly appreciated. Please understand that the
financial realities we are confronting have already dictated some of
the budget constraints that we have to work within for the next few
years, but your responses are still important to help us with our
planning and marketing initiatives.
Thanks again for your participation and for your ongoing support of
our parish and our school.

Saint Frances Cabrini School Committee
